Magnetic Accelerators farming guide: best Spaceport and Stella Montis routes, plus when Night Raids and bosses make extractions worth it.
Two raids, one bad spawn, and a dead extract later, I was reminded why Magnetic Accelerators feel harder to keep than to find. If you're farming them because Gunsmith 3 blueprints are starting to ask awkward questions, EZNPC is at least one shortcut players look at for gear and item support while they sort the grind out, but the straight answer is still simple: hit targeted high-value POIs, not random junk piles. The best spots are Rocket Assembly on Spaceport, then Assembly Workshop and Business Center on Stella Montis. That's the search intent here, by the way: pure how-to, no fluff.
Where to farm Magnetic Accelerators in ARC Raiders
Rocket Assembly is the cleanest single stop because of the red lockers. Get there first and your odds jump; show up late and no shot, the room's usually picked clean or you're walking into a team holding angles. I burned through a bunch of free-loadout runs after the June update doing exactly this, and the fast resets honestly beat my “full clear the map” habit by a mile.
Best POI route if you want consistent drops
Short version: chain containers fast, then leave. Start at the nearest locker or courier cluster, crack open three to five high-value containers, swing into a locked room or server wing if it's close, then post on high ground for ten seconds and listen. If Rocket Assembly whiffs, rotate immediately to the next Exodus-side POI instead of forcing a long clear — that tracks better with how loot density works in contested matches.
What you're really farming isn't one magic chest. It's container count per minute. Red lockers, tool carts, epic crates, server-room shelves — stack enough of those in one route and the RNG evens out way faster than people think.
Are Night Raids and bosses better than locker runs?
Kinda. Night Raids, storms, and locked-room instances seem to bump up epic loot quality, though I wouldn't pretend we have clean drop-rate numbers. From what I've seen since patch 1.7, event timing helps most when your route already passes through Spaceport or Stella Montis, because then you're layering better loot states on top of good container density.
Why extraction matters more than one more fight
I've made this mistake myself: you finally pull a Magnetic Accelerator, hear shots nearby, and your brain says “free PvP.” Don't. Tempest, Equalizer, Hullcracker, and other late-game crafts need this stuff badly enough that once it's in your bag, the run changes from hunting to escaping.
So keep the loadout light for loot runs — stamina, mobility, quiet clears, smokes if you've got room. For boss pushes like Queen or Matriarch, bring real DPS and one player whose whole job is watching the exit, because split attention gets squads wiped more than bad aim does. And here's the thing though: if stash space is tight, don't recycle extra accelerators until you've checked upcoming blueprints; I learned that the annoying way. If you want one more thing to prep between raids, check ARC Raiders Redeem Codes for freebies and then run the route again, because the cleanest farm is still the one where you actually extract. |
